Ever since September 2016, when entering the English and Irish markets, we’ve been developing the next generation of Team. Thanks to a warm welcome and a lot of help from our customers with testing and giving feedback, the launch is just around the corner. We’ve listened to the needs and put in requested functions, e.g. improved performance, nominal and support for multiple depots. We hope that our customers will like the new visual overhaul and the new features. There’s no risk of confusion as the overall setup is the same. Read more in Scots Auto Scene issue 146, page 70.
In line with our strategy to focus on development and innovation, we have now moved to Plymouth Science Park. Here, we are located in the middle of an IT business environment and close to the university with access to specialized skills and groundbreaking technology.
On September 15, we acquired Team Systems Ltd., which develops and sells software for the tyre, fast fit and vehicle repair trade in the British and Irish markets. With this acquisition, we will expand our offering with software for easier repair shop work and customizable web shop
“The UK market has a more integrated approach in terms of tyre, exhaust and brake replacements. They have even more pressure on margins and thus has a different approach to purchasing and inventory management. “, Says Anders Paulcén, CEO of Compilator.” In Sweden, on the other hand, we have a high IT maturity and modern systems. We can both learn from each other and together we will become a very strong player in the European market.”
Damien McGrath, Blacklion Tyres
”Team software has had a significantly positive effect on the growth of our business. The system contains all the features that any successful tyre business would ever need, and has superb web integration capabilities, meaning my stock is live to my customers 24/7. I would sincerely recommend Team to anyone looking to grow their tyre business.”
Steve Kirk, Arrow Tyres
”I have been using Team for many years now, we use it for the day to day running, pricing, stock control, vat and much more.
If we ever have a problem, the help desk is always there to get us out of trouble and back up and running. I certainly wouldn’t want to run my business without Team Systems."
Alan Lindsay, Nordic Tyres
”The main purpose of Nordic Tyres investment in Team software was to provide our growing customer base with instant access to our stock levels and order process, to allow them to quote directly to a customer in their store and place a subsequent order in real time. This has proved to be an invaluable tool to the development and growth of the business, bringing our customers closer to our product range and improving our service.”
